Apple TV is a digital media player developed and sold by Apple Inc. It is a small network appliance and entertainment device designed to play digital content from the iTunes Store, Netflix and YouTube, along with the TV Everywhere portals of several cable and broadcast networks. The 3rd Generation Rev. A was released on January 28, 2013. It has a Apple A5 Single Core processor. It's memory is 512 MB & storage is 8 GB. It also has Bluetooth, HDMI, infrared receiver, optical audio, Wi-Fi etc. Its initial OS was Apple TV Software 5.2 (based on iOS 6.1) & current OS is Apple TV Software 6.1 (based on iOS 7.1).
